- The Dual Enrollment Research Fund announced a call for proposals with $1 million to support research that expands and deepens the body of knowledge and evidence about dual enrollment as a tool for increasing college access and success. Foresight Law + Policy and the Rodel Charitable Foundation of Delaware are managing the proposals on behalf of a group of national and regional foundations.
- Foresight Law + Policy published a summary of the U.S. Department of Agriculture's proposed regulatory revisions of the USDA's Child Nutrition Programs: Revisions to Meal patterns Consistent with the 2020 Dietary Guidelines for Americans.

- Foresight Law + Policy partnered with Watershed Advisors to develop the Vermont Child Care and Early Childhood Education Systems Analysis, under the auspices of Building Bright Futures. The report is now available on the Vermont General Assembly website here.
- Foresight Law + Policy published a report by partner Elliot Regenstein titled “The Importance of Modernizing Technology in Developing Early Childhood Integrated Data Systems".
- As part of its ongoing work with the State of Wyoming on early childhood governance, Foresight Law + Policy has produced the Wyoming Early Childhood Governance Transition Report.
- Partner Elliot Regenstein joined Mike Petrilli and David Griffith on the Education Gadfly Show podcast to discuss how the Build Back Better plan would affect pre-k and child care. In addition to the podcast, Elliot also authored two Fordham Institute Flypaper posts: “The Build Back Better plan would improve both pre-K and child care,” and “Build Back Better’s risks on early childhood education are manageable and outweighed by the benefits.”
- Foresight Law + Policy partnered with the Center for the Study of Education Policy, EducationCounsel, Erikson Institute, and Start Early to produce a new guide on how school districts can use ESSA funds – and ESSER funds – to support early learning.
- Foresight Law + Policy's Policy Advisor, Alex Perry, published a blog post with Erica Cuevas from Jobs For the Future describing ways in which the US Department of Education could place more of an emphasis on the importance of postsecondary transition programs such as dual enrollment and early college high school.
- Foresight Law + Policy released a new report, Building a Coherent P-12 Education System in California, based on interviews with dozens of education leaders in the Golden State. The report makes recommendations for how the state can improve the integration of K-12 with early learning. See the executive summary here. - Foresight Law + Policy Founding Partner, Reg Leichty, wrote a journal article "Online Learning for Rural Students", featured in the January 2021 Standard, The Journal of the National Association of State Boards of Education.
- Foresight Law + Policy partnered with School Readiness Consulting to produce a report on the state of Michigan’s “Listen and Learn Symposium,” held as part of the state’s Preschool Development Grant-Birth through Five.
- On October 28, 2020, we hosted a launch event for our joint report with Tom Gentzel, Gentzel Insights, LLC titled "Equipping School Boards to be Engines of Innovation in Education During the Pandemic and Beyond". The presentation included insights from Tom Gentzel, former NSBA Executive Director alongside FLP Founding Partner Reg Leichty and Partner Elliot Regenstein and moderated by FLP Founding Partner Amy Starzynski. - Advance CTE released a report titled "The State of Career Technical Education: An Analysis of States' Perkins V Priorities" that examines how states have leveraged the development of Perkins V state plans to advance the dual priorities of expanding quality and increasing equity within their CTE systems.
- Foresight Law + Policy and the National Council of State Education Attorneys published new privacy guidance for State Education Agencies.
- Partner Elliot Regenstein served as a guest author for the Education Commission of the States Ed Note Policy Blog with an article titled "Making Sense of Governance in Early Childhood".
